Avalanche Win 3-2 In OT To Tie Series
Nazem Kadri scored the overtime-winning goal in his return to action to lead the Colorado Avalanche to a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night.
Anthony Cirelli gave the Lightning an early lead just 36 seconds into the game, but the Avalanche answered back with goals from Valeri Nichushkin and Mikko Rantanen in the second period.
The Lightning tied the game in the third period on a goal by Ondrej Palat, but Kadri ended things in overtime with a shot from the slot.
The win evens the series at 2-2 and sets up a crucial Game 5 in Denver on Friday night.
